Specializing in expert testimony and consultation on premises liability, Gary focuses on negligent security, crime foreseeability, third-party criminal acts, security standards of care, and overall security operations—including staffing, training, systems integration, and countermeasures. He also provides expertise in security assessments, analysis, and investigative processes. His extensive background spans service in the U.S. Marine Security Forces, armed and unarmed security, insurance investigations, and wrongful death cases. A former sworn law enforcement officer with the Greenville (NC) Police Department and a proud Marine Corps Veteran, Gary brings unmatched credibility and experience to every case.

Since 1999, he has led as Owner & President of NC Protection Group (d.b.a. Private Eyes, Inc.). Licensed as a Private Investigator both personally and through his company by the North Carolina Private Protective Services Board (NCPPSB), Gary also holds credentials as an armed Personal Protection Specialist (PPS). He maintains a North Carolina Concealed Carry Permit and has completed the NCPPSB Armed Certification Course, underscoring his commitment to professionalism and preparedness.
